496 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Tourism and Trade if officials in his Department are in consultation with members of the drinks industry, or are members of a policy committee for reform of the laws and practices in the sale of alcohol.
No officials of my Department are in consultation with members of the drinks industry in any significant policy or other context, nor are they members of any policy committee of the kind mentioned by the Deputy. If contact does take place, it is occasional and in the way of normal business interface.
