Question:

513 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform if he will give a list of the names of persons, other than those in the permanent Civil Service, who currently hold positions in his Department or Ministerial office; the nature of the appointment; and the current salary payable.

The names of persons, other than those in the permanent Civil Service, employed in my Department, and the positions held by them are as follows, Mr. Paul Mulhern, Programme Manager; Mr. Richard Humphreys, Special Adviser; Ms. Margaret Dowling, Personal Assistant.

These persons are employed under Exclusion Order, in accordance with the Civil Service Commissioners Act, 1956. Their appointments will end on the date on which I, as Minister for Equality and Law Reform, cease to hold office. The current salary payable to each of the above persons is as follows, viz. Mr. Paul Mulhern: £41,667.03, per annum; Mr. Richard Humphreys: £33,886.00, per annum; Ms Margaret Dowling £317.42, plus allowance of £15.96 per week.
