Vol. 437 No. 6

Written Answers. - Disabled Person's Maintenance Allowance.

Michael Finucane

Question:

541 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Health when disabled person's maintenance allowance will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick in view of the fact that medical evidence has been presented, and this person is waiting since November 1993; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Payment of disabled person's maintenance allowance in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the Chief Executive Officer, Mid-Western Health Board with a request that he examine the matter and reply direct to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
