My Department has sanctioned a grant towards the cost of essential repairs at Scoil Náisiúnta Oileán, Leitir Mealláin, Contae na Gaillimhe. The greater part of the grant due has been paid and the balance will issue when the work is completed and certified by the Department's local professional advisers.

Question:567 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Education if she will supply information on the application by the management of Scoil Náisiúnta Oileán an Cnoc, Leitir Mealain, Contae na Gaillimhe for grant aid for electrical work carried out on the school which was in a bad condition; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
An application has been received by my Department for grant aid towards the cost of electrical work at this school. This application is under consideration and a decision in the matter will be conveyed to the school authorities in due course.
