609 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Education if she has received an application for funding from the Irish School of Ecumenics; if so, if she will consider this application favourably; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The Irish School of Ecumenics applied to my Department for funding. However, given the overall cost of providing educational services, the authorities of the school were informed that I am not in a position to provide funding.
