Vol. 437 No. 6

Written Answers. - Clontuskert (Roscommon) School.

John Connor

Question:

63 Mr. Connor asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the seriously sub-standard conditions prevailing at Clontuskert national school, County Roscommon; and the plans, if any, she has to have this school brought up to acceptable standards in the 1994 school building and improvement programme.

Following a recent application by the Board of Management for a grant in respect of the cost of improvement works at Clontuskert national school, County Roscommon my Department requested a report on conditions at this school from its professional advisers. When this report has been received and considered a decision in the matter will be conveyed to the school authorities at the earliest possible date.
