Vol. 437 No. 6

Written Answers. - Loughguitane (Kerry) School.

John O'Leary

Question:

77 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for Education when repairs and improvement works will be carried out to Loughguitane national school, Killarney, County Kerry, including the provision of toilets and a room for a remedial teacher; and if she will make a statement on the matter having regard to the urgency of the case.

I am aware of the need for improvement works at this school. The reports of my Department's professional advisers on the matter are being considered and I hope to be in a position to take a decision shortly on the extent of the necessary improvements.
