Question:

64 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Social Welfare when a decision will be made on the application by a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The person concerned has been awarded an invalidity pension at the weekly rate of £60.80 with effect from 13 January 1994. A personal payable order book, effective from 10 February 1994, will issue within the next two days. Arrears of invalidity pension from 13 January 1994 to 9 February 1994, less the amount paid on disability benefit, will issue within the next ten days.
