Question:

230 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education the reason school transport is not available to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary who lives approximately four miles from the nearest school; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

This is the first that either my Department or Bus Éireann have heard of this case.

The details supplied by the Deputy have been passed on to Bus Éireann to investigate the matter. When their report becomes available, the Deputy will be informed of the outcome.
