Vol. 438 No. 7

National Bureau of Crime Statistics Bill, 1993: Order for Second Stage.

Bill entitled an Act to create a National Bureau of Crime Statistics whose terms of reference shall be to measure accurately the levels of crime and report on those annually by the 31st March and to compare increases or decreases from period to period with analyses as to the actual levels of crime, together with any comments they feel are helpful in dealing with the crime problem.

Since this is a Private Member's Bill, the Second Stage must, under Standing Orders, be taken in Private Members' time.

I move: "That the Second Stage be taken in Private Members' time".

Question put and agreed to.
