Question:40 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the categories of investment in milk processing that now qualify for EAGGF investment aid; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Investment in Milk Processing.
EAGGF Guidance Fund aid for investments involving the marketing and processing of agricultural products is provided under EC Regulation 866/90. Under Article 8 of that Regulation the Commission recently put forward proposals for the revision of the criteria which member states are required to apply in selecting investments to be aided in the dairy and other sectors. Those proposals have not been adopted yet.
