Vol. 438 No. 7

Written Answers. - Coursing Meetings.

Alan Shatter

Question:

52 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the number of hares killed at coursing meetings since the commencement of this coursing season; the meetings at which hares were killed; and the numbers killed at each meeting.

The answer is in the form of a tabular statement which gives the up-to-date position in respect of the various meetings and which I propose to circulate in the Official Report. The Ballingar meeting on 31 October and the East Donegal meeting on 2 January are not included as the Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry was not represented at those meetings.
