Question:96 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Justice when a decision will be made with regard to documents lodged with the Land Registry on behalf of a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that an application on behalf of the person referred to by the Deputy was lodged in the Land Registry but was rejected on 15 June 1993 and that it has not been re-lodged to date. The application in question involves a Land Commission Schedule in relation to which queries have arisen and which have been, in the meantime, taken up with the Land Commission Solicitor.
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that progress in relation to the application for registration is dependent both on the outcome of the queries mentioned and on the re-lodgment of the application in question.
