Question:113 Mr. D. McDowell asked the Minister for the Environment when he will make a decision in relation to Dublin County Council's request to approve a tender for works at Leixlip water distribution works.

Tender proposals for the provision of a new intake at the Leixlip Water Treatment Plant by Fingal County Council are under consideration in my Department. A decision on these proposals will be made in the context of the 1994 allocations to local authorities for water and sanitary services which will be finalised shortly.
