Vol. 438 No. 7

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Theresa Ahearn

Question:

120 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for the Environment when payment of a new house grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a new house grant from the person named at the address given. There was, however, an application under the house improvement grant scheme which was terminated in March 1987; in that case a grant cannot be allowed as, contrary to a condition of the scheme, the house was not occupied, on completion of the improvement works, as a normal place of residence.
