Vol. 438 No. 7

Written Answers. - Dundalk (County Louth) By-pass Inquiry.

Dermot Ahern

Question:

124 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for the Environment when a decision will be forthcoming on the Dundalk western by-pass public inquiry; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The public inquiry into the Dunleer-Dundalk by-pass scheme and related compulsory purchase orders took place over 12 days in July and August 1993. I am giving careful consideration to the many important issues raised at the inquiry and I will make a decision as soon as possible.
