Vol. 438 No. 7

Written Answers. - Export Inspection Agencies.

Theresa Ahearn

Question:

155 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the proposals, if any, he has to allow the establishment of inspection agencies for exporting food products that would be accepted by customs officials at the point of export; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have no such proposals. Inspections at the point of export for export refund purposes, will continue to be carried out by the customs service of the Revenue Commissioners.
