Vol. 439 No. 2

Written Answers. - Longwood (Meath) School Extension.

Colm M. Hilliard

Question:

159 Mr. Hilliard asked the Minister for Education if she will give an up-to-date report on the extension to Longwood national school, County Meath, which is nine years awaiting the goahead.

At a recent meeting with representatives of the school's board of management, my Department agreed in principle to grant-aid the provision of an extension of two classrooms to Longwood national school. Architectural planning of the project is currently in progress.

The project will be considered for inclusion in the capital programme in due course in the light of other commitments and priorities.
