191 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education whether national lottery funds will be made available to the north Kildare club which provides for a wide range of sporting and recreational facilities; if she will give favourable consideration to an application from this club in the current year; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

My Department has no record of receiving an application from the North Kildare club under my Department's Recreational Facilities Scheme. All applications received under the scheme by the closing date of 4 March, 1994 are presently under consideration by my Department.
