137 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education if a higher education grant or vocational education committee scholarship is payable in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
I understand from Kildare County Council and County Kildare Vocational Education Committee, the bodies entrusted with the administration of the third level student support schemes in this case, that neither body has any record of receiving an application for a grant in 1993-94 from the person in question.
Should the candidate submit an application all queries in relation to it should be adressed by the Deputy to either Kildare County Council or County Kildare Vocational Education Committee as appropriate.
