Wexford): Notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders it is proposed that (1) business shall be interrupted not later than 5.55 p.m. this evening and (2) statements shall be made today not later than 4.45 p.m. on the export of beef to continental Europe, and the following arrangements shall apply: Statements shall be confined to a spokesperson for the Government, the Fine Gael Party, the Progressive Democrats Party and the Technical Group and shall not exceed 15 minutes in each case; a Minister or Minister of State shall be called on not later than 5.45 p.m. to make a concluding statement not exceeding ten minutes.

Is that satisfactory and agreed? Agreed.
