Vol. 441 No. 5

Written Answers. - Cashel (Tipperary) School.

Theresa Ahearn

Question:

213 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has to make safe the access to the new community school in Cashel, County Tipperary; if she will give an assurance that there will be no delay in providing the necessary road improvements to the entrance of the school; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The plans for the entrance to the new community school are being finalised at present and will be designed to meet safety requirements fully. The question of any improvements needed to the public road is a matter for the local authority. Their proposals in this regard and the funding of the works required are currently under discussion with the local authority.
