Vol. 441 No. 5

Written Answers. - County Monaghan School.

Seymour Crawford

Question:

78 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Education if she has made a decision as to whether Urbleshanny national school, County Monaghan is to be a new school or whether there will be an extension to the existing school; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

My Department has given approval in principle for a major building project at the school referred to by the Deputy. The question of whether this project should involve the extension and upgrading of the existing school building or its replacement by a completely new school is under consideration in my Department and a decision in the matter will be conveyed to the school authorities as soon as possible.
