Question:117 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a grant in respect of the 1993 suckler cow scheme will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.
Written Answers. - Grant Payment.
The person named applied for premium on five cows under the 1993 suckler cow premium scheme. However, he has only established a suckler cow premium quota of one based on the number of cows on which he was paid premium under the 1992 suckler cow premium scheme.
He was paid a 60 per cent advance on one cow under the 1993 suckler cow premium scheme on 29 November 1993. Payment of the balance will be made shortly.
