Question:193 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education the proposals, if any, she has to provide two additional class halls for a school (details supplied) in County Donegal.

A proposal to build an extension to the school in question in 1987 did not proceed due to the changed financial situation at the time. The chairman of the board of management has reactivated the proposal to build the extension and my Department is examining the case in the context of the existing accommodation and having regard to the enrolments at the school for the foreseeable future.
