It is my intention to provide assistance from Structural Funds to dairy farmers to help them upgrade their on-farm facilities to meet the requirements of EU Directive 92/46/EEC. However, the operational details of such a scheme cannot be finalised until discussions with the EU Commission on the National Development Plan 1994-99 have been concluded.
