Question:79 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the way in which sheep meat prices in the first quarter of 1994 compared with those for the same period in each of the years 1991 to 1993.
Written Answers. - Sheepmeat Prices.
The average price for sheepmeat, as reported by my Department to the European Commission for the first quarter of this year, was 230.397 pence per kilogram. Comparable figures for the first quarters of 1993, 1992 and 1991 were 179.485 pence per kilogram, 211.318 pence per kilogram and 224.295 pence per kilogram respectively.
