114 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for the Environment in view of the fact that many cattle have died on the farm of a person (details supplied) in County Limerick if he will call on the Environmental Protection Agency to investigate the cause of this tragedy.
Wexford): I do not at this stage propose to request the Environmental Protection Agency to investigate this incident, which has been closely examined, with the assistance of independent experts, by the local authority concerned. This is without prejudice to the Agency's discretion to investigate this matter, or to advise or assist in relation to it, on its own initiative.
