Vol. 442 No. 5

Written Answers. - Swanlinbar (Cavan) Water Supply.

Andrew Boylan

Question:

120 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for the Environment the proposals, if any, he has for the provision of a water supply for the town of Swanlinbar, County Cavan; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

While my Department has received no detailed proposals in relation to such a scheme, Cavan County Council has identified it in a preliminary way for possible inclusion under the INTERREG II Programme. Further consideration of the matter will arise in the context of the development of that programme.
