Vol. 442 No. 6

Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Enda Kenny — the reduction in teacher numbers at Derrypark national school, Finney, Claremorris, County Mayo, with the resultant deprivation of proper educational facilities for children and the consequent lessening of standards of spoken Irish in the area as this is the last Gaeltacht school in the vicinity; (2) Deputy Kenneally — the problem of wandering horses in suburban estates; (3) Deputy Crawford — the plans, if any, the Minister for the Environment has to provide a bypass and proper parking facilities in Monaghan town to alleviate traffic congestion.

The matters raised by Deputies Kenneally and Enda Kenny have been selected for discussion.
