Vol. 442 No. 6

Written Answers. - Specialist Assistance for Downs Syndrome Children.

Derek McDowell

Question:

77 Mr. D. McDowell asked the Minister for Education the reason the level of specialist assistance for Downs Syndrome children provided to St. Fiachra's senior national school, Beaumont, Dublin 9, has been reduced since the start of 1994.

I am having the matter raised by the Deputy investigated by my Department's primary inspectorate and I will advise him of the outcome as soon as inquiries have been completed.
