50 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if, with reference to the reply to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 121 and 122 of 16 December 1993, a person (details supplied) in County Cork will now be paid the moneys due to him under the January 1993 special beef premium.
In the course of processing the application of the person named, it came to light that he did not submit an area aid form in 1993. As a result payment of grants under the January-February 1993 special beef premium scheme could not be made until it could be established that he did not apply for any other cattle scheme grants in the course of 1993. The position has now been clarified and his application is being processed further and payment will be made shortly.
51 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid the 1993 slaughter premium; and the amount due.
My Department has no record of having received an application under the 1993 deseasonalisation slaughter premium scheme from the person named.
52 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry with reference to Parliamentary Question No. 123 of Thursday, 28 April 1994, if there is any appeal procedure whereby a person (details supplied) who has applied for a grant under the 1992 suckler cow scheme can have his case reconsidered.
The person named may appeal the decision given under the 1992 suckler cow premium scheme. His appeal should be made in writing to the local office of my Department and should indicate the grounds on which his appeal is based.
53 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of his depopulation grant.
The depopulation grant due to the person named has been paid.
