The application referred to by the Deputy was made over two years ago in respect of a short visit. It was refused by the then Minister for Justice and my Department is not aware of any more recent application. If the person concerned wishes to enter the State in the near future, the appropriate procedure now is to submit another application which will receive due consideration on the basis of the supporting information.
