Vol. 442 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Written Answers. - Social Welfare Benefits.

Nora Owen

Question:

91 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Health if a person (details supplied) in County Dublin is in receipt of disability benefit from the health board; and, if so, if he is entitled to an increase in these payments.

Payment of disabled person's maintenance allowance in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the Chief Executive Officer, Eastern Health Board with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
