Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Connor — the crisis arising in the private home service for the elderly in the Western Health Board region due to the shortfall of funding in the current year; (2) Deputy Yates — the revisions to the National Development Plan required as a result of the decision of the EU Commission in relation to the Community Support Framework for 1994 to 1999 and (3) Deputy Theresa Ahearn—the urgent need for funding for the provision of a hard playing ground area at Annacarty national school in South Tipperary so that the proposed work can be carried out during the summer holiday period.

The matters raised by the following Deputies have been selected for discussion: Deputies Yates, Connor and Theresa Ahearn.
