73 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Education in view of the considerable importance of the International Cartoon Festival for the town of Rathdrum, County Wicklow, if she will undertake to transfer the old vocational education committee school building which is no longer being used to the festival committee as a centre; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The future disposition of the former Rathdrum vocational school premises is under consideration in my Department in the light of perceived future needs and proposals for possible future use received from the County Wicklow vocational education committee and from Wicklow County Council. A decision will be made as soon as possible.
