I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Carey — the fact that Aeroflot's presence has resulted in the availability of cheap aviation fuel at Shannon, thus giving the airport a competitive edge; and whether the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications considered the consequences for the airport if this competitive edge is lost in deciding not to grant Aeroflot pick-up rights, thus resulting in the possibility that it may withdraw its presence in Shannon; (2) Deputy Connaughton — the lack of tunding for the Williamstown sewerage scheme, County Galway, and the progress, if any, to date on the matter; (3) Deputy Moynihan-Cronin — the confiscation of privately-owned boats on the Lakes of Killarney; (4) Deputy Durkan — the action it is proposed to take to resolve the dispute with directors of community care in the various health boards having regard to the hardship being caused to the disabled, the handicapped and the most vulnerable in society as a result of this dispute; (5) Deputy Connor — the need to make new regulations to protect fisheries such as the River Lung, County Roscommon, from acts of destruction such as the major fish kill recently on the river; (6) Deputy Frances Fitzgerald — the care arrangements for a 15 year old boy (details supplied) in the past three weeks; and the need to address the crisis in the provision of appropriate residential care for young people; (7) An Teachta Éamon Ó Cuív — an gá atá ann go dtabharfar deontas méadaithe réachtála do na comharchumainn Ghaeltachta le cuidiú leo obair fhorbartha atá ar bun acu a dhéanamh go sásúil.
