45 Mr. D. Wallace asked the Minister for Justice, in relation to State bodies under the aegis of her Department, the number and location of posts that have been transferred from Dublin under the Government's decentralisation programme since 1987, the number of persons who transferred from Dublin to those locations; and the proposals, if any, there are for further decentralisation.

No posts in State bodies under the aegis of my Department have been transferred from Dublin under the Government's decentralisation programme.

In relation to the proposed transfer of part of the operations of the Land Registry — which is due to be converted to a semi-State body — to Waterford I would refer the Deputy to my answer to Question No. 44 from him on today's Order Paper.
