Written Answers. - Land Registry Decentralisation.

John Bruton

Question:

184 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Justice the sections of Land Registry that will be transferred to Waterford; and the sections that will remain in Dublin. [179/94]

The organisational arrangements in the Land Registry provide for the division of the country into seven regions. The sections dealing with the following three regions will be transferred to Waterford: (1) County Cork; (2) Counties Kerry, Limerick and Waterford and (3) Counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Tipperary and Wexford. The sections dealing with the other counties will remain in Dublin.
