257 Miss Harney asked the Minister for the Environment the number of appointments made to State Boards, boards of semi-State bodies and statutory bodies under the aegis of his Department since this Government took office. [808/94]

I have made 117 appointments to 16 bodies in the period in question. This includes renewal of existing appointments, appointments to newly established bodies and appointments made following nomination or selection by various bodies.
