Vol. 445 No. 6

Written Answers. - Higher Education Grant.

Michael Noonan

Question:

473 Mr. Noonan (Limerick East) asked the Minister for Education if a person (details supplied) in Limerick will be awarded a higher education grant. [351/94]

I understand from Limerick Corporation, the body statutorily entrusted with the administration of the higher education grants scheme in this case, that it has no record of receiving an application for a grant from the person in question. If the candidate submits a grant application, Limerick Corporation will consider it in the usual way in accordance with the terms of the relevant scheme.
