503 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Education the position regarding the proposed extension to Tallanstown National School, County Louth; when this project can proceed; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [764/94]
My Department has given approval in principle for a major building project at this school. Due, however, to other demands deemed to be of higher priority which had to take precedence, it was not possible to include this project in the national school capital programme for 1994. This project will, however, be considered for inclusion in the programme in due course in the light of available resources and other commitments and priorities.
