Vol. 445 No. 6

Written Answers. - Phoenix Park Wall Repairs.

Tony Gregory

Question:

133 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Finance if the Office of Public Works will have arrangements made to repoint the perimeter wall of the Phoenix Park at the rear of a property (details supplied) in Dublin 7, which work was promised by the then Minister of State at his Department in 1991, in view of the fact that the present condition of the wall facilitates break-ins due to the ease with which it can be climbed. [288/94]

A scheme to carry out repair works to certain sections of the perimeter wall of the Phoenix Park is currently being prepared and priority will be awarded to repointing the section of wall in question as part of this programme.
