Question:

198 Ms O'Donnell asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the number of civil servants allocated to him and to the Ministers of State at his Department for the purposes of dealing with constituency queries, representations and replies. [1108/94]

At present, 19 civil servants are employed between my office and that of the Minister of State.

Staff are not formally assigned to constituency and other duties. The situation varies from day to day in each office and staff carry out appropriate duties as the need arises.
