Vol. 445 No. 7

Written Answers. - Cervical Screening Service.

Máirín Quill

Question:

74 Miss Quill asked the Minister for Health when the committee, established by him to report on cervical screening, is due to present its findings; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [927/94]

This working group, which is chaired by the chief medical officer of my Department and includes experts from various fields, is looking at all aspects of the cervical screening service to consider what further improvements can be made. The group had its final meeting on 11 October and expects to finish and present its report to me in the very near future.
