Vol. 445 No. 7

Written Answers. - Adelaide (Dublin) Hospital.

Andrew Boylan

Question:

85 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for Health the total number of beds decommissioned at the Adelaide Hospital, Dublin, during the holiday period; the number that have been recommissioned during the holiday period; the number that have been recommissioned to date; if other facilities at the hospital have been affected by the closure of wards; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [972/94]

During the summer holiday period a total of 12 beds were closed at the Adelaide Hospital, Dublin, and I understand that none of these beds has been reopened to date. The matter is kept under constant review by the hospital authorities to ensure that any disruption is kept to a minimum.
