Question:

172 Ms O'Donnell asked the Taoiseach the number of civil servants allocated to him and to the Ministers of State at his Department for the purposes of dealing with constituency queries, representations and replies; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1095/94]

There are six civil servants employed in my constituency office, two in the Office of the Minister of State with responsibility for European Affairs, Deputy Tom Kitt, and two others have been assigned for my Department to the Office of the Government Chief Whip, Deputy Noel Dempsey.
