Written Answers. - Prosecutions under Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act.
I am informed by the Garda authorities that official figures for prosecutions taken in 1994 under the Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act, 1994, are not yet available. I can state, however, based on provisional Garda figures, that there have been in excess of 3,300 prosecutions.
