Desmond J. O'Malley

Question:

102 Mr. O'Malley asked the Minister for Justice the number of cases that have been appealed under the legislation introduced last year which allows the Director of Public Prosecutions to appeal unduly lenient sentences; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2026/94]

I understand from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions that one case has been appealed under the legislation mentioned.
