46 Mr. Lowry asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the plans, if any, he has to withdraw or to amend the Grocery Order; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1892/94]

79 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the plans, if any, he has to withdraw or to amend the Grocery Order; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1893/94]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 46, 71 and 79 together.

The operation of the Restrictive Practices (Groceries) Order, 1987 is, at present, under review by my Department. In this connection submissions received from all interested parties will be considered. I expect to be able to give my view on the matter by the end of the year.
